Dave&Gaby here from Va.We have 1995 z240 Talari that we just purchased in April of this year.We normally boat on Smith Moutain Lake,but Labor day week we will be at Lake MooMaw.:yes_grin:Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Labor Day!

Welcome aboard Dave & Gaby. That z240 is a very popular boat here on our site and while i'm sure your username will generate some interest on its own, hopefully you will find our site members a helpful & friendly bunch and if they are in your area always happy to meet up on the water! ;)

Lake MooMaw is our favorite lake! We have only been able to make it there twice this year. The first trip was in late June and the second trip was early August. The lake had :wink_thumbup:dropped about ten feet between our visits. Hopefully it has not dropped much more so you can enjoy your trip. We always stay in campground 1 and have been going there for over 20 years. Maybe we will cross paths there sometime. It's a several hour trip for us so we can't go as often as we like especially with the gas and diesel prices as they are. We want to go to Smith Mountain this summer since we have never been there, but just did not get the opportunity. We live about 30 minutes from Lake Anna so that is where we do most of our boating now, but that is a busy lake.

Welcome to the site. I too have a 95 Z240 I bought late July. I am in love with this boat and would not even consider a newer boat. I live in Alabama so we more than likey will not cross paths but enjoy your boat and have a safe holiday.
