Question

I am looking at a 1996 Mariah Shabah 210. Is this a good boat? Can anyone tell me what I need to be looking at and what questions need to be asked? They are asking $9500. Is this to much to pay? Please advise

Re: Question

Again, someone is asking a bunch of Mariah enthusiasts whether or not a Mariah is a good boat??? ;)

There really are no different questions to be asked than if you were buying any other brand of boat. Check to make sure all of the electrics work, particularly the trim/tilt control and gauge as the outdrive has to be removed to replace the sensors, make sure all of the interior trim pieces are there as they are difficult to find, ask for the maintenance records and above all get it on the water and try it out. $9500 may be just a tad high but its that time of year and the seller has the advantage. There is always room for some dickerin' though.

Re: Question

I bought a 1997 Shabah 210LE last winter for around that same price. Mine has the 7.4L 454 and is solid Red. Got the expected bugs worked out and LOVE the boat.
