Default Upolhstry, radio bezel, and distibutor

Hi everyone

I have a 98 z222 shabah with 454 mag. Looking for new skins and I have been told that the distibutor out of a K-1500/2500 GMC 86 model will replace the thunderbolt V HEI I currently have. It looks exactly the same along with the module. Can anyone shed any light on the these topics for me?

I dont know about the distributor but....upholstery is aftermarket or DIY only so your best bet is to find a local marine upholstery shop & negotiate a price although this time of year means you will be paying a premium. You could also do a site search here for "upholstery" as a few of our members have gone that route and have posted a number of tips & ideas.

As for the stereo bezel they are no longer available new (like most trim pieces) but one of our members (95 z240 talari aka Mike Eftink) is making & selling the bezels here on our site and on eBay. Have a look at our Parts Vendor List.

DON'T USE AUTOMOTIVE PARTS ON MARINE ENGINES .

Marine engines and the parts cost more because they are fire and spark proof. Automotive engines are not, nor are their parts. Don't cheap out when it comes to the safety of you and your passengers.
