Should I buy this boat?

I am looking at an 05 Sx22 with a 5.7 and a bravo one drive. It only has 120 hrs on it. It appears to be well taken care of and is equiped with captains choice exhaust. What do you all think the price should be? Are there problem areas that I need to keep in mind and look out for?

Regards

Winky

Photos and better description.
Trailer ? type?
Location that it was used?

120 hours is very low.
What are they asking?

Re: Should I buy this boat?

Its an 05 22Sx with a 350 carb engine with 120 hrs. He is asking 17.5 with trailer and cover. I am also looking to get a swim platform and wake boarding tower. I will gladly accept any recommendations.

What do you use to clean the hull after you pull the boat out?

What kind of lift works best for this boat?

Thanks,

Re: Should I buy this boat?

I've always used Sea Brites "Hull Safe" hull cleaner. Apply it, leave it for 2-3 mins then hose it off. As for the value of that boat, do you have a link to an online listing for it? Failing that i would suggest doing a Google search on 2005 SX-22 for sale & see what comes up. At this time of year you should be able to discount the asking price by up to 20% fairly easily.

As for the boat lift idea, one of our members bought a Naylor lift. You can read about it here for his new Mariah. Another member bought a Sunstream unit which you can read about here and here.
