Default Hello

Hello everyone,

My wife and bought a 1994 Talari 210 this past fall, and got out in it a few times before the weather turned cold. This is our third boat, [first Mariah] and look forward to using it again next summer.

Welcome aboard! You'll have to tell us a little more about the boat & upload some pics when you get a moment.

Here are a couple of photos the seller had. I have not taken any of my own yet. The interior is in great shape, and it has a 5.7 Mercruiser for power.

Hi, great boat you will love it and the power is perfect for that boat. I had a 1995 210 Talari with 5.7L for 8yrs. I will make one suggestion though, put on a SE Sport 300 hydrofoil or Attwood gull wing foil. From experience, you will get much better performance. This is a deep and heavy boat for its length and when loaded will benefit greatly from the foil. I think your going to be surprised how smooth she rides in rough water this spring!

In the limited time using it thus far, it handled any wake or waves very well! I was thinking of adding some smart tabs instead of an outdrive foil. What do you think guys?

    Welcome to the board 300sflyer!

Smart tabs are the way to go for a boat your size. Search the forum here, we've got some great info about Smart Tabs, and many users who run with them!

    hi Mike

There's no question that Smart Tabs are a better option that adding a hydrofoil to your outdrive. Once set up properly for your boat, they provide all the benefits of the foil, put no extra strain on your outdrive and they self adjust as your speed changes as well as reduce / eliminate low speed wander and improve high speed stability. You will likely need the 80lb actuators for your boat and i've provided the link to the Smart Tab (Nauticus) website. The owner responds personally to all questions submitted and he will work with you to get your boat set up properly if needed.
