Just bought a 1995 Barchetta 182....loving it! except for steering has been difficult. thinking need to replace power steering pump.....help anyone??

Difficult steering? What is the exact problem? Hard to turn the wheel? Boat wants to turn on its own? Is it hard to turn when not running and out of the water, or just when at high speed, or all the time? Just need a little more information about the problem or people would just be shooting in the dark.
