Default Hello from Golden Missouri

Hello all, I am glad to be part of this forum. I recently purchased a used 1996 Mariah 180 Shabah 18ft. I will find this forum most useful because the boat did not come with an Owner's Manual or any documentation. In the past I have owned two small outboards but this is the first time for a inboard power boat.
The first day, checking out all the controls on land, I could not raise the trim above the ground. Four neighbors and two days later we found the trailering button and was then able to raise the trim. I also have another switch on the dash that I have know idea what it does, I was hoping that your Electrical Schematic would somehow give me a clue. But the resolution is low making it extremely hard to read, maybe I can find someone that has a better print.
Take care all and I will be doing a lot of research.

Yours Truly,

Mike :

Welcome, Mike. We stay right there by you, in Arrow Point and usually launch from Viney Creek, when we're at Table Rock.
As for the switch on the dash, just give a little better description (where's it at in relation to the other switches?) and someone can most likely tell you what it is.

    Thanks Dredd,

Viney Creek is where my Slip is. I don't have a lift as of yet, so the boat is in my backyard now.

The switch in question is located on the left side of the steering wheel (Please see attachment). When I purchase the Used Boat I found this switch loose and it would turn all the way around without activating. The switch is a three position, left position is for the panel lights, straight up seems to the the off position and to the right is unknown. Also one of the Accessory Switches turns on the Panel Lights as well. I believe that the previous owner may have thought that the switch was bad and wired it over to one of the Accessory Switches. There are two diodes on the back of the switch, for some reason. I just would like to know what the far right position does.
