I can tell you from recent experience that pricing a boat is a very personal thing. It depends on a number of factors. A good start can be gotten from someplace like NadaGuide (Prices & Used Values for Boats, PWC, Outboard Motors & Boat Trailers). But that only gives you the approximation of how much a bank will finance the boat for. Not how much the current owner values it at or how much you as the buyer will want to pay for it either. The other factors could include the condition of the boat, the season when you are buying the boat in (summer is peak boating and price season); and how much you really really want this particular boat. All that will affect the price of the boat, I suppose.

Sanu nailed it the NADA is a rough guide boat condition how much you like etc. etc. I just purchased a bit of a project 1999 Z278 Limited, nothing really major just little age type things mainly so far I paid $21000 for it had 400 hours with the 502 new stereo flat screen 27" tv xbox 360 yada yada. The surveyor I had go look at it aswell figured it should go for $25000-$28000 or so but it is your call. Mind if I ask what they are asking for it others may have suggestions then aswell.

If you give me the HIN on it I can run it make sure it hasn't had any big claims or such on it accidents or the like.

Re: Looking to purchase

NADA does quote it at around 9000 but i didn't know with the extra options if the price was within reason. 26 pitch prop, 5.7 liter, two covers two bimni tops 21 ft and it is extreamly clean. We have only owned a Donzi and a pontoon so i'm a little lost on how much options add to the price. I don't have HIN number but thank you.

Well if you put them in the nada thats kinda what the options are worth a 26 pitch prop on a stock 5.7 seems abit much I haven't tried mine out really yet other then sea trial when I bought it but I am running 26 on a 502. Is that the asking price or have you been dealing on it already?

Just me but I would offer say 9500-10000 and take your time I got mine down from 28000-27500just first talking then made an offer of 20,000 they countered with 24500 I waited a week said 20500 and sat on that till they came with 21000 even. Worked for me anyway I hope still not sure how this trailer is going to work out but thats my story, good luck with yours.
