Well, I'm no longer a "Mariah owner wanna-be", but an proud Mariah owner. I picked up a real nice 1996 Z210 with a 5.7LX and a Alpha One drive.

Question, how do you remove the prior owners boat license numbers without doing damage to the gelcoat? I haven't tired anything yet.

Congratulations! If its the vinyl letters you are talking about, they will come off with a heat gun and a flat razor knife very carefully, they will come right off.

You only want to remove though if you are changing states, unless of course you just want to remove to replace with different letter styles(thats what I did).

Yes its the vinyl letters that I need to remove, I imported the boat into Canada and need to renumber her. I have attached a pic taken with my phone, will upload some once I get a chance to take some good ones.
