I dont think you're going to find anyone here that will be completely negative about an original Mariah since its an Owners/Enthusiasts site. If the boat has been well maintained, all the electrics work (particularly the trim up/down) and passes your inspection (including a water test if possible) then they are excellent boats.
I suspect swim deck off of a 212 will not fit properly but have a look thru our Watersports forum to see what others have to say about various brands & fitment.
