Default Finally got my Mariah!

Just boat my Mariah Shabah Z212, 350 mpi mag,bravo3, love it but has some small issues. One is, to lift the rear deck, it has an electric lift on one side and a gas lift shock on the other, I think the owner broke the gas side and put an aftermarket one on. It looks to be mounted wrong and does not have enough power to complement the electric one. anybody have a pic or suggestions of an original install so I can get this thing right?

Wow, thats a cool boat. It looks like its a Limited edition too, and is the hull color Black?

My 94 had the Electric lifting rams disconnected when I first got my boat, and after connecting them found that the reason was that they lift at different speeds and then you have to disconnect one to let the other one catch up. Maybe that is why your previous owner replaced one of his with a gas ram? Either way I will try to get some pictures this weekend and post, but I still have not come up with a solution for mine. I have thought about relocating one closer to the center to eliminate the double speed issue but am worried about strength.

There is a zirc fitting I need to shoot some grease into and see if that may help too.

Oh and if you search through some older threads some guys have found that the slow or inactive electric rams are a result of a poor connection at the switch or at the ram itself(which I have eliminated from mine, that would have been too simple) and the full voltage is not getting to the actuator.

    Congratulations and welcome aboard!

Hope I'm doing this thread right, Thx guys, GOOD idea on using the ram in the center. You might be right, there could of been a ram on the other side and the previous owner replaced it with this air shock.
I am also looking for a bimini top (if I spelled that right ) Any ideas?

Thx is good to hear experiences from other Mariah owner.

Mine has accu lift as the brand name, I have had some email contact with them. I'm sure you could make sure that's who made the one you already have and then get one more. Or if your going to go through the hassle just get both new so you can be confident in the speed being the same. I'm sure you can get replacement though.
