Default Hi from the UK

Hi

I am in the UK and have just sold my Chaparral and am looking at buying a Mariah Z275 the older 1995-1998 model year. They are thin on the ground in Europe and at the moment in the US as well.

Why that model? Well I saw one at the London Boatshow back in the late 90s and vowed to own one. My last boat was a cruiser which was terrible in the chop and never slept on so I sold it. I may be alone but the Z275 in my eyes looks awesome just sitting at the jetty, big block power and a deep V hull would suit where I boat in the UK.

Look forward to being around on the board.

    hi Andy

'bout time we got another Limey on this board! I think ColinT is our only other member from that little island.

Yep, the Z275 is a nice looking boat. Best of luck in your search for one and keep us advised on what you find out there!

    Welcome aboard Andy,
Nice to have another Pom with us. Too bad about the Rugby world cup though, good game.
All the best looking for you Z275, yes they are very nice looking boats. The earlier Mariahs definately are better quality than the newer ones.
Mind you the new ones are still better than Bayliners and such.
Looking forward to your input. Dont be a stranger.

Welcome to the board Andy. I agree, the Z275 is a sharp boat! Let us know what you find, I know there's a few for sale over here in the states. The marina I bought mine from had just shipped 3 boats overseas right before I bought mine, so maybe that's an option for you! It might cost a couple thousand extra, but if it saves you in the long run, it might be worth it!

We're a friendly bunch around here, and if you need to know anything, you've come to the right place. Just ask, we're all here to help. Good luck with your search, and keep us posted!

Thankyou for the welcome, my last two boats I purchased in the US and shipped back. Its a good excuse to visit friends near New Orleans and see some sun

Were planning a Vegas trip in May but dont think the wife would appreciate a detour to look at boats.
