Generally the factory wiring is quite good in that everything was labelled & connections were solid but its like anything else if it hasn't been maintained. You say it sat in repo for 5 yrs? Then i would be checking out everything....

I know exactly which boat you bought, I think... From Alexandria Bay NY, with blue canvas?

What sort of issues were you having with the factory wiring? Mikeyt's right, the wiring on the Mariah's are always labeled, wrapped and organized. Perhaps the previous owner had some work done, and it just wasn't cleaned up properly?

not sure if this was originally in alex bay, but it was used there and yes a blue top,no wiring lables maybe because its a 2000,,also i can see many unattached wire ends,i have no idea where they go (no lable or markings ) i have one tach not working, this boat has heat--AC or climate control, fridge, shower, toilet, stove, microwave, cofee maker,2 sinks, for and aft cabin, all below deck,,,,,,ice maker, sink, trans shower, hot and cold water, remote spot lite, frenched docking lites, much more up top,,,is a great boat, plan to spend this weekend on it.

Contributing member get access to all of our manuals / wiring diagrams etc if needed. Sounds like it might be worth the small investment to you.
