Default Another new owner here.
Greetings all, Just picked up a 2008 18SX, (my first sterndrive) this past weekend. Coming from a Hydrostream, I'm quite impressed with the performance and build quality of this boat so far. Its very comfortable. I've already found out through this site that it is normal for the auto bilge to selfcheck every couple of minutes or so.. alittle odd but normal.
We do our boating on Falcon Lake in Manitoba Canada.

    Ahoy Dave and welcome to the club!

    Glad to hear that happy with your new Mariah, we all feel the same as you about our Mariahs!

    As for the bilge pump, most new boats are setup this way to remove excess water automatically when the boat is stored on the water. it's supposed to help prevent you from finding your boat has turned into a submarine while you were away
