Hello...I'm a new member but have had my Mariah Z280 since 2004. It's been a fantastic boat with very little trouble and a lot of pleasure. Mine is fully loaded with generator and have spent many weekeds in my floating summer cottage.

My one complaint is that's its had a starboard list since I've had it. My suspicion is because of the configuration...the holding tak and hot water heater on the starboard side (as well as the AC unit) in the back and the generator/batteries on the port.

Does anyone have a similar configuration and if so, does yous list as well?

I have a '99 Z280 which I purchased in June 2010. I have only had the boat for one summer but I too have noticed a substantial list to starboard. I too believe it is due to all the equipment and extra fiberglass (wet bar, helm, head etc.). I do not have a generator or a/c unit but I do have a very large house battery, 2.5kW inverter and hot water heater all located on the starbord side. I am contemplating moving the heavy house battery and perhaps the hot water tank to port. I even notice the list while underway and use the trim tabs to balance out the list. Do you notice the list while underway?

i two have a 280 i have 4 batt. big water tank on port side the only thing i have on starboard side is hot water tank, and mine also has a bad list!!!
