Hello there fellow Mariah Owners. I'm new to the club. After recently purchasing my third, and probably final Mariah, I thought it was time I join. The reason I say final is because, I absolutely love my 2001 Z302. After a long search throughout North America, I finally found the perfect match. It needed a considerable amount of clean up work but I'm now the proud owner of a 2001 Z302 in absolutely mint original condition and only 166 hours on the 496 MAG. Was hoping to get a couple more mph out of the 496/Bravo III package but it appears I'm topped out at 50.1mph. I'm sure there are several other factors that might get me a mile or so per hour out of it but I was curious as to what others are seeing out there. My Bravo III package has a 26 pitch and the 496 is topping out at about 4900 RPM's which appears to be on the top end. The boat came with all the original paperwork and the manual says that the should top out between 53-58mph. Anyone out there seeing this kinda speed out of their Z302? Looking forward to conversing with other members.

Thanks. I've been looking forward to becoming a member of this club for quite some time now. Boating is my passion and I've become a big fan of the Mariah brand (2001 and later) since purchasing my first Mariah back about 4 years ago. So far I've owned a '92 MX22C as well as a '95 Davanti 225. Enjoyed both of those boats but have since settled on the 2001 Z302. Looking forward to learning more about the fellow owners and their experiences with the brand.
