Default z272

I'm about to purchase a 1995 Z272 Barchetta. The seller said it ways approx. 5400 lbs, but I've read it is around 4800 lbs. The seller also said it is closer to 28 ft than 27 ft. Does anyone now the specifications of this boat? I know my 6500 lb lift will lift it, but I'm concerned about the legnth since my slip is only 25 ft.

According to the brochure the OAL is 27' 2" and the dry weight is 5650lbs. A full tank of gas will add another 682 lbs (110 gals at 6.2lbs/gal) give or take a few pounds. By the time you add a few accessories etc you will be stretching that 6500lb lift.

Thanks for the infomation. I asked the seller if WE could drive it up to my slip, 33miles by water, and try it. Of course I offered to pay for he gas. The seller claims he has it on a 6500 lb Poly lift. I have a new 6500 lb Econo lift I purchased last summer.

I would moor her on your lift with no more than a 1/4 tank, that should give about 620 lbs to play with.
