Re: New Mariah owner

Welcome friends!!! I see your boat looks allot like mine!!!! :- ) I love my Mariah and I am sure you guys will feel the same, after you have her out for the summer....

When i bought my Mariah the main thing the previous owner told me which i still live by... is every 2 summers make sure you get your impeller replaced because they are made of rubber and tend to go out after a while... and i also get all my fluids checked and topped off when i get this service done...and so far i have had no major issues with my boat...

Oh and one other thing that really was a pain and i don't know if I am the only one that had this issue..... but... i was on the lake one summer and my boat just died!!! it would turn over but not run at all...

After i got her home and traced some wires... i discovered that some how when the line was ran for the safety kill switch under the stereo... it was stretched over the steering cable and after so long it eventually popped the cable off the back side of the safety switch behind the console so i had no idea until i traced the wire back... so i put the wire back on the switch and then she started up just fine!!! LOL...

hope the info helps : - ) and enjoy your new boat!!!!

Chops...
