Re: Hello everyone
Welcome aboard.
There are lots of members here with experience, so just post up whatever issues you might be having. Electrical gremlins are common on any boat. A good place to start is to clean all the contacts at the fuse block and even apply a some di-electric grease to keep things clean. As a contributing member, you have acess to the wiring diagrams, so that should help you trace where things are. Neutral shift problems might be as simple as an adjustment to the shift interuptor switch. A common adjustment on Mercruiser powerplants. |
Re: Hello everyone

Re: Hello everyone
It's on top of the motor, at the back where the shift cable assembly is. It interrupts the engine momentarily to allow the clutch dog to disengage. Or the shift cable may need to adjusted or replaced.

Re: Hello everyone
Z 202 YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!!! The ground wire on the interuptor switch was causing all the problems. So I am just gonna replace that, and I tighten all the cables. Getting all the lights starting to work scrub all the corosoin off the fuse block. So thanks again I apperciate that
