Looking at a used 1994 z210 tilari 5.0. has a great price on it. but i would love to know if there is a good reason not to buy it for the style, engine, or lower unit. which is a alafa mercruiser.

As you can see after only a few minute here, we all love our Mariahs. I came over from a
Sea Ray and others have come from other brands but I for one may never get rid of my Mariah. They are that well built.
As for your specific question, a 210 with 5.0 engine should be a lot of fun. Alpha drives are very good. Just change the water pump impeller every couple of years and the lube every season and she should be fine.
If you are new to boating, it would be a good idea if you had a survey done before you lay down the cash. sixteen year old anythings could hold surprises. Post up some photos if you get her. Good luck.
