I'm a owner of a Mariah Z211 Shabah since 1998 but unfortunately I found this club just a few weeks ago during a google search for something completly different.
Since I purchased it in summer 1998 new from a swiss dealer.
With one exception (but a boring exception) it runs without any problem since then.

The exception was the low pressure fuel pump failed after a few motor hours replaced by the dealer and failed again after half an our of operation.

Seeking myself for a replacement it turned out to be a general problem (at this time) on Mercruiser and VolvoPenta useing the same pump and I had to contact a few dealers just to find one with a spare on stock.

After a stron complaint at VP Switzerland I received (for free) a spare pump for my own stock and an explanation for the
cause of the break downs (pump manufactering problem, I have some details if somebody is interested).
And fortunately I never had to install my own spare received from VP

Hi Peter and welcome to the club!

Don't feel too bad about finding out about this club just now, it's only been around for a little over three years and it continues to grow!

When you have some time, I would like to here what you found out about the pumps, it just may help another member/boater some day.
