Default Hello

I am the new owner of a 1996 200 Shabah limited w/5.7 enginge which was immaculate. I say was because I had to purchase a cheap cover. Stearns model E which bled blue dye onto the rear beige vinyl bench seats making them look dirty. Any ideas on what might help take the stain out.

I use Starbrite Vinyl Cleaner which seems to work quite well. Use a soft brush to get into the grain, then wipe off with a clean, WHITE cloth (I once used red and they bled like you just experienced!!). I then use Formula 303 Vinyl Protectant because I've heard incredible reviews about anything made by them.

I also used Formula 303 Water Sealant for my cover... works like water off a duck's back!

Hey Boatman....the other thing i've had some success with when cleaning the vinyl is those Mr Clean scrub pads. Good luck & let us know what works!

    Thanks for the great idea.
The Starbrite did not take the stain out, but it really cleaned up the vinyl.
