Any other aussie mariah owners

Hi all. Have just purchased my 1st Mariah SX18 and am excited. Was just wanting to know if there was an Australian club setup or any other australian Mariah owners so we could discuss issues with aussie waters, repairers, etc. No offence to anyone else intended. I'm hoping to post pics soon and am still taking in info from everyone. This site is fantastic. Cheers to all!:wink_thumbup:

Gidday MashyMariah - that's an interesting name!
There are tonnes of Mariah owners on this forum from Oz (well 4 anyway).
Theres one owner in Cairns, one on the Gold Coast, myself in Perth.
Theres one owner living in Sydney. The New Mariahs are selling well there thanks to Con (who is a member here) I think he is from Marine Network, so no doubt there will be more owners from Steak and Kidney coming to the forum as time goes by.
Where are you from?
Post yourself on the Member Map and check out the Gallery, we all have pics posted there.
If you want to know anything about boating in Perth just ask me, otherwise the other guys might be able to help.
Good luck and welcome to the forum, you will find this place fantastic and terribly addictive. :wink_thumbup:

Is it true that the toilets and sinks flow backwards down under ? :rolling_laugh:

Sorry MashyMariah, I forgot to warn you about Mikeyt, he pops up here all the time.
He has a particular - or is peculiar - love for us Aussies, his Canuck humour may be a little obscure, but you have to allow for him (he's from Newfoundland ).

haha. Thanks for the warning dudders. I thought it was vice versa mikeyt. Anyway, this site is addictive. The information i can access is fantastic. It's good to know there are other Aussies here. Too bad we're spread out everywhere, but at least we can keep in touch here. Hope to be able to input however i can. Smooth waters to all.

So where do you do your boating??

mikeyt 09-22-2008 02:19 AM

Keeping the Aussies spread out and separate from one another is a good thing! ;)

mashymariah 09-22-2008 01:43 PM

dudders, most of it is locally. Head over to gulf St Vincent, river murray. Am hoping to head over with family to Lake Macquarie in NSW late this year or early next and see how the waters are there.

They tried to keep the Newfies and Ontarians separated, but well as we can see, there was some "bonding" going on 50 years ago or so :rolling_laugh:
