Default Hello all

I just signed up for a one year membership and I was trying to see where that shows up on the site.
I recently bought a 99 jubilee 24 foot , 7.4 L and having power steering problems. It feels like manual steering. I was hoping to access the MerCruiser bravo 3 manual #28 on this site, since that’s where the MerCruiser engine manual sent me for power steering troubleshooting.
I haven’t figured out how to navigate to that area yet so if somebody could guide me, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Rick

Hello Rick and welcome! Once the admin checks your membership, you will see it under your name on the left side. This can take a while sometimes and is not automatic. If you don't see anything soon, send a message to MariahMan

Also, join the three Mariah Owners facebook groups too. They are much more active than this site for faster feedback and answers. This site is fantastic for information and older forum entries to get some great info.

    Hi Rick,
You may want to try lubricating the steering arm/tube near the transom. There is a valve in there that senses steering effort and directs fluid to the appropriate side of the ram to assist steering. If that valve got corroded or has not been exercised in years it can hang up. Generous amounts of WD40 and back and forth exercise may be all it takes.
