Default 1996 Z255 Shabah Fuel Tank Specs

Hello people, I have a 1996 Z255 Shabah, the fuel gauge is not working , the float is defective, What are the dimensions and specs of the fuel tank and electronics, if any one knows.

    do a search on the forum to see if anyone has posted that information. There is no specific data on the original tank size in the files. You may also want to post the question on the facebook sites too.

    Its most likely a faulty fuel sender unit at the tank and they are easy to replace with a universal unit. If i remember right (when i replaced mine about 7 yrs ago) you could trim the sender unit float arm to the correct length and there were instructions included showing you how to measure the depth of the fuel tank (thru the sender unit opening) and calculate what length the arm needed to be. When i replaced mine i did it as a set (new gauge & new sender unit) so that i had matching ohm resistance (240 - 33 ohm). Failing that, I'm almost certain there are more than a few You Tube videos on doing that work. btw.. your fuel tank capacity is 85 gals / 322 litres.
