Thanks for letting us know what it was. Replacing the starter is a pain, but at least it isn't anything worse.

I need help n fixing fuel gauge (sender how do i get to the tank to check the sending unit 1993 Mariah DIABLO

I don't know your boat well enough to say, but usually there is a removable cover in the floor towards the rear of the seating areas that allows access to the sending unit. Do you have a round cover (around 8 inches) in your seating area floor?

the boat has 3 seats across the back there is a square cover just under the middle seat would this be what i am looking for thanks

That would be my guess. The fuel tanks are in usually in the middle toward the rear so that could be the access to the sending unit.
