Wife and I bought the in-laws lake cabin last year. Now we are in the market for our first boat.
‘94 180 Talari w/4.3 Mercruiser. The current owners provided videos of boat running and it sounds/looks really good. Plan on doing some tubing and lake cruising. Found this group and have learned a lot about the boat and manufacturer. Lucky to have found a boat that wasn’t OMC. So many nice boats out there with OMC and just didn’t want to take the chance on one..

Welcome to the group and congrats on the lake house! definitely read through all the forums on here for additional information, but you have probably already figured out Mariah's were the top of the line. The 4.3 is a good engine, so if the boat is in good condition overall, it is a safe buy. Make sure they have the title if your state requires one - getting one afterwards is a PITA.
