Default New to Meriah and boating! Hi...

Hi Everyone!

New here and new to boating... Dont quite know what I am in for? But needed something to build memories for the kids after the 2 year pandemic. We live around the Toronto are and enough places for boating. Our little family of 5 love camping and always dreamed of being out on the lakes.

The boat I bought today as I understand is a 1997 Mariah Shabah 180 SE. 3l Mercruiser for an engine and should be good since the kids are still small. Planning to keep it for a while. Decent shape I guess. One owner boat house kept boat.

Looking forward to contributing as I can on here and will probably ask more questions than giving answers. I travelled on motorbikes throughout Africa and guess I should be fine mechanically. I just need a shift to boats.

Thanks

Welcome. It looks to be in decent shape and I have essentially the same boat not far from you. Be sure to join both of the Mariah Owners groups on Facebook. The website here is good for documentation etc but the FB groups are much busier.

Welcome to the group. Great boat for those nice family getaways. Sounds like it was well kept, just keep up the maintenance and it should be a solid boat. Happy Boating!
