    Hi James,
    Are you wanting to repaint the sides of your boat? I know they make paint for the lower hull, but I'm not aware of paint you could use on the sides. Working over smooth fiberglass, it could scrap off easy. I would try to use rubbing compound to bring back the color frist, you might be surprised. You could also consider doing a wrap if its not able to come back, but I'd consider working with a detailer if your not happy with the results. Good luck!

    Not sure if it was you or someone else who posted a similar question in the Facebook group but here was the Administrator's response;

    "The original gelcoats were made by a company who was part of Lilly Inc. Finding those in this day and age and in usable condition are going to be next to impossible. Minicraft.com out of Florida has the most accurate gelcoat color formula for all of the OEM Mariah gelcoat colors. Many have had great luck with their products. "

    Paint wont hold on the gelcoat without a lot of surface preparation work. I'd second 'Zins' response about having someone do a complete buffing & refinish of the original gelcoat/color before i even considered trying anything else.
