Need help please. Have a 1994 Talari 200z with 5.0 mercruiser. Took boat out ran fine to beach and back to dock. Took boat out 4 days later can’t get up on plane or past 2000 rpm at wot Revs high in neutral no power Under load . Changed cap , rotor, water fuel separator, new carb filter. Any ideas? Engine Won't Reach Operating RPM. Check the following;

1. Fuel condition. Type and Octane, possibly old fuel
2. Propeller hub slippage or damaged blades
3. Engine timing and ignition system operation
4. Restricted fuel pickup tube or anti siphon valve. Fuel System Test
5. Restricted carburetor air intake (clogged flame arrestor)
6. Restricted exhaust system (broken exhaust shutters/flappers) in engine transom shield or drive
7. Poor cylinder compression - Compression Test
8. Carburetor defective. Dismantle and clean.
9. Fuel pump pressure and vacuum
10. Engine Overheating. Alarm should trigger.
