1998 jubilee 244

Hello all. I have a 98 Jubilee 244 with a carbed 5.7 and a Bravo 3 out drive. I am having a simple yet complicated issue. I bought this boat early 2020. Used it all summer. Great boat. Issue is it has a severe starboard lean only under power. I have to load everyone on the port side when cruising. I am only 195. When I am the only one in the boat it is down right dangerous. The boat sets perfectly level when no one is in it. Two batteries in the back port side. Nothing other than life jackets stored in the boat. I have 22 pitch props. This is where my question lies. This boat has an unbelievable amount of torque and will only run about 32 mph before it is turning way to hard. Could this be torque lean due to this prop setup has the big front prop and small rear prop. Front turns left rear turns right. Seems I need a 26 or so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are many possibilities that would explain a list underway. The whole idea behind dual counter rotating props is that they cancel out the tendency to torque the boat to one side. Are either of the props damaged? Does your boat have trim tabs or Smart tabs? Are they operating or set correctly? How about the hull, does the starboard aft have a hook in it from sitting on the trailer?

Thanks for the reply. There are no tabs on the back of the boat. The hull theory is a possibility. I'm looking in the engine bay right now and the front of the engine is pointed slightly to the port side. It's noticeable to the eye. Doesn't explain the right side lean but it definitely is a cause for concern. Props are stainless steel and in good shape.

Trim tabs (whether Smart Tabs or hydraulics/electric) will help with the lean but determining the cause is needed.
