Vent?

I just bought a 2000 182 Shabah and love it! Low hours and runs great. Question: what is the vent on the drivers’s side of the boat? Oval about 4 in long?

Yep, Steve has it right. Its not a 'vent' but it is the horn grille.

Mystery solved! Here are pix. Any chance of getting replacement side decals? The gold and white in front of the Gold Mariah raised lettering. The one on the left is pretty beat up.
