Looking at a Z276 - need advice.
 

Hello! I joined to research a 1998 Z280, with a 7.4 and Bravo 3. I'm going to the marina tomorrow to have a look at the boat. From what I have read so far Mariahs are well built boats. However, I have read that this model has a balsa core in the hull. Is that correct? I also read that the stringers and transom were fabricated from pressure treated XL plywood. It should be rot resistant. Is that correct? Do any of you know of elements in this model or problem areas that I should pay special attention to? I will be getting a survey. Many thanks!
