Model Identification Help
 

Hi guys I am new to this site. I bought a Mariah shabah last year and am looking for some clarity on the model of boat I have. Here is some info on the boat. It is a 1998 per the vin number has the 4.3l GI Volvo Penta engine in it, back bench seat has four head rest and the previous owner told me it was an 180. However the trailer is a prestige and says "Shabah 182 Limited Edition in gold, but i can not find a 1998 Mariah Shabah 182 anywhere only 180. The boat and trailer are a matching red and the trailer has gold wheels if that helps. Any info on it would be greatly appreciated.

The 1998 brochure shows a 180 bow rider and a 183 closed deck boat. The 182 wasn't introduced until the 1999 model year but its possible a few were sold in late 1998. Easiest way to tell a 180 from a 182 is the side glass. The 180 is squared off at the back while the 182 came to a point. A solid red hull would indicate an 'LE' edition.

It is not letting me post pictures, it says I am missing a token. However it sounds like I have an 182, my side windows come down to a point, and it is a solid red hull.
