Default Looking for Help

Looking for a couple of items for my 2008 SX20
New Speedometer, my current one is no longer working the needle is on the back side of the pin. My speedo has the Mariah logo on it and would like to replace with the original.

Looking to see if the vinyl for the engine cover that has the embossed Mariah name is available?? my interior colors are black/white/tan

Thanks for helping
Jeremy
PS I tried posting a very long detailed post just before this one but it got lost in outer space?? So if this post works I have more questions LOL

Speedometer likely isn't broken. Have you cleaned the intake hole in front of the lower section of your outdrive? That gets blocked with corrosion / debris etc and then the speedo stops working. It's also possible that the tubing that runs to the speedo has come loose. If you insist on changing the speedo then look to ebay or GreatLakesSkipper.

Vinyl for the engine cover? No chance for new. Get someone to reupholster it or find someone parting out a similar boat.

    Hi Mike,
Would that be the case with the Speedo needle being in the back side of the pin?? It’s like the boat was going a 100 MPH then just stayed there wrapped. Could it have created that much vacuum that I would stay there? That would be awesome if you think it’s that line plugged because I would hate to lose that matching Mariah gauge.
Thanks for the advice truly appreciate it.

Try popping the air line off the back of the speedo and blow some compressed air thru the air line back towards the outdrive. That will help identify where the intake hole is & whether its blocked or not. DONT blow air into the speedo. It may be that the speedo is buggered for that very reason. I've seen the Mariah speedos on ebay recently and they're not too hard to find.
