Steering Problems
 

Hi all, new here.
Looking for advice on steering. Last time out became very hard to
Steer and steering was sticky. Currently am looking into the
Teleflex rack and helm. Took off rack now am getting steering
Wheel off. Letting kroil soak on shaft to try and pop it off.
Anyone have this type of steering problem and what was your fix?

I'm brand new here. Thanks

It’s usually not the cable itself but the steering tube at the transom assembly that needs cleaning and grease.
