Hi Brent
The price you mentioned appears to be in-line for that particular boat. There are a number of things to check out. The general condition of the boat & engine area, does all the switches & electrics work (test them!). Check the engine oil & ask about where & how often it's been serviced. Check to make sure there is nothing missing. It is difficult to find Mariah specific parts at times so you want to make sure everything is there and that it works. See what tops / covers come with the boat & check their condition. Check the outdrive & prop for any dings / chunks missing. A water test is always a good idea and a boat survey is an even better idea if you're not comfortable with checking the boat yourself.
Also, if there is a trailer with the boat, ask when it was last serviced (wheel bearings / brakes). I'll let someone else chime in here with the things i've overlooked.
