Default 1991 Diablo

Hello Everyone! I just bought a 1991 Mariah Diablo. The boat leans to the right under acceleration to the point of being uncomfortable, (as much as in a hard turn, but when going straight!). Has any one ever experienced this? Any suggestions?

Most likely a weight distribution issue. Does she sit level when just floating or list to the right? I had a similar situation on my Z280 and wound up moving my house battery to better balance the boat.

thanks for the reply...the boat sits level when just floating. It lists to the right even with 2 passengers on the left! Could be a torque issue, not sure if the prop is correct.

Do you have trim tabs? If not they would help control your roll issue.

Check to make sure your skeg is straight but generally this is a weight distribution issue. Steve is right though, Smart tabs should help the situation.
