Hi All,

I am a past owner of a '92 Z190. It had an hour meter. Looking to purchase a '95 18' Barchetta. Owner says there's no hour meter. Is there a non obvious place the hour meter might be located or does it really not have one? Thanks!

Might have one, might not have one.

This is a long shot, but if the engine has fuel injection, the computer will have the engine run hours recorded. You would need a scanner package to access it however, typically at least $200.

I dont think you're going to find fuel injection on a 1995 motor. Others on this site have reported not having an hour meter installed on their boat

Mercruiser started using EFI in 96, but the engine may have been replaced since 95. I said it was a LONG SHOT anyway.
