Engine warning alarm

Does anyone know the location of the engine warning alarm on a 1995 Mariah Davanti 7.2L. That noisy little booger quit working this weekend. I removed the access panel behind the instrument cluster from inside the cuddy. I know it somewhere in that location. Thanks! MrBill

Mr. Bill,
I have a 95 Z-235 Davanti 7.4L Carbureted. The alarm sounder on mine is located behind the access panel you mentioned near the back of the Speedo & Tach. Black plastic about the size of a .50 cent piece. If I get over to the boat this week I'll send you a pic..

Found it!! It was laying loose and our of sight under the tach. I knew it had a purple feed wire so I started wiggling every purple wire that wasn't attached to something.

Thanks again!!!!!!

Re: Engine warning alarm

Mr. Bill,
You're welcome. Glad you found it.
I ordered my Mariah in May of 95, took delivery in July of 95 and hopefully will have another 23 years on the pond with it.
If I can help you with anything else send up a flare
