Re: Floor issues
It did indeed. But it was no fun and I don't ever want to do it again. Learned a lot. Here are some pics.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8118d473a3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5375099132.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...468a97b702.jpg

Re: Floor issues
This is my winter project. Both seats have pulled free, was able to temp fix it for the season but it's not going to last.
Where did you get your carpet from? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk |
Re: Floor issues
Carpet was from Lowes, it has the rubber backing. Initially bought outdoor carpet from Home Depot without the backing. The carpet glue came right thru!! Had to rip it right out.

Re: Floor issues
It has a wood floor and fuses with the fiberglass toward the sides. It was a bear to cut out, trying to stay with the wood and not chip the fiberglass. It was a good learning experience. Any questions I'd be glad to answer them.

Re: Floor issues
It would appear that Mariah may have abandoned the fiberglass floor sometime in 99. The 98 brochure clearly describes it as being used in all models and I know that my 99 has a fiberglass floor. It seems that from maybe 2000, they went back to the older method of encapsulating the wooden floor as before.
