Hello

I just purchased a 1996 Mariah Shabah 180 with the 4.3L MerCruiser. The hull on the boat is a bit dirty and the boat has been in dry dock since last year. Got put away with a full tank of gas and the rest of the boat is in a great condition.

I had 2 questions...

1. What is the best way to winterize this boat?
2. Where is the best place to find a service/repair manual?

Anyone who can help I would appreciate it!

Possibly not the only or most complete method...but my 4.3 has both block plugs removed and both manifold plugs removed. Water pump and other hoses taken loose so water cannot lie in those. Bow pointed up and outdrive down. Engine fogged at beginning of storage and fuel stabilizer added. Not a complete but that is basicly how mine has been succesfully winterized from what the previous owner has told and showed me.
