Welcome to the MOC Sakis, and congrats on your "New" SX-18! Feel free to read around the site, and if you have any questions feel free to ask them in the "Sea Fox Mariah" section of the forum! We're a friendly bunch and willing to help each other out.

A brief history for you, in 2001, the original Mariah Boats Inc based in Benton, IL. went out of business, and the assets were sold to two separate companies in 2002. Sea Fox Boats in Moncks Corner, SC bought the 18-25ft hull molds, and the larger molds 25ft-30ft got bought by Challenger Powerboats. Sea Fox Boats kept the Mariah brand name, and remodeled the original Mariah molds and redid the interiors to make a more "budget friendly" boat, labeled as the SX,SC, and FS models. They sold them up until around 2013 I believe, when they decided to sell the Mariah line to a Canadian manufacturer. (we're still trying to figure out who!)...

So, sadly we don't have a ton of information from the Sea Fox Mariah days, but we do have a copy of the manual (which is not model or brand specific, it's just an "intro to boating" book). We also have the sales brochures for each year. These are available to contributing members, along with engine service manuals, etc. We're trying to build up our Sea Fox Mariah materials up, so hopefully we'll come across more items in the future.

Hope this helps! And again, welcome to the MOC!

I also have the 2008 sx18 and I believe I have most of the paperwork that came with the boat...if there is something in particular you are looking for let me know and i might be able to research it and get back.
