Hello! New to the forum and first time boat owner. Picked up a seemingly well cared for 1991 MX20 cuddy that I hope to have good luck with. I was going to try my first run yesterday, however in my stupor, I lost the only set of keys I had, including the cuddy cabin key. I hope this is not an omen of things to come. I ordered a Sea Dog Line 4 Position Ignition Switch (with keys) through Amazon and my ride will have to wait until next weekend. Did I order the correct style ignition by going to 4 position, or should I have ordered a 3 position? Regarding the cabin key, can I just fashion something with a skinny round metal rod?

Anyhow here are some pics of my new to me boat.

No you should have ordered a 3 click ignition switch you can find these with keys at a local auto store

Thanks for the quick reply. I ended up ordering the 3 position ignition switch and cancelled the 4 position one.
