Swim Plateform
 

I have a 1996 180 Shabah Limited Addition that I just purchased. I would like to add a swim plateform but I am having trouble finding a place that will match the color. My boat is all red with the gold decals.

Welcome to the club and congrats on your purchase! I looked around as well and could not find anything stocked (nothing stock about a Mariah) and itbis my understand most people get one custom made at various fiberglass fab shops. Someone chime in if they know one in Minnesota. I saw one one advertising at Trans Form Plus but they a re in Canada. Let us know what you find.

No problem. If you get a chance post some pictures. Love to see your boat. Do a search in the projects forum as well. I saw one guy on the FB Mariah Club made his own and it was darn nice, but being a shade mechanic myself I will be going to a professional; )

I put one on my Z280 last year made by Swimplatforms.com and love it. My boat is white but I believe they will make any color you want.

Hudson, if you don't mind about how much was it? I looked at some of the pictures and wonder how they dealt with trim tabs. Thanks for info!

Including shipping from Phoenix to NY is was on the order of $2k. According to my wife, the best $ I have spent on the Z280.
We love sitting out on the platform and listening to tunes with our feet in the water. I even added a remote for my Fusion stereo on the transom so I can control the tunes from the platform.

The place here in Colorado that a member got his done at does do custom colors. Welcome to Mountain Marine Industries - Denver's finest boat repair shop and home of the custom swim platform!. They ship as well and have a few to choose from at there swim platform site www.swimplatformssuperstore.com. I was just going to take mine down, so I did not see that they ship all over, sorry for the confusion.
