Hello
We are in the process of getting a 2000 Mariah 252. . We almost bought a z212 way back in 1992 so it's been a long time coming. . We have a Polaris jetski. We boat on the Mississippi River in Missouri. . Looking forward to having our own boat instead of riding along with the in laws

Re: Hello
Congratulations and welcome to MOC! I have a cuddy version of the 252. They are a great boat! Tons of info on here. If you have not all ready there is a section on buying used Mariahs. Might be a good idea to check it out!
Is the boat local to your area? |
Re: Hello
It is in North Carolina

Re: Hello
It does not happen to be the 252 with side exhaust does it? I stumbled on it the other day looking for side exhaust on Mariahs.
I drove quiet a distance to get my 250. It was not till I hooked up an an trailered the package myself that I found out the trailer brakes were not working and the trailer needed substantial work to be safe. Not to say the trailer under that 252 is the same but in the 2000 era Prestige trailer was cutting squares in the frame instead of drilling holes. That and the torsion axles were clapped out and needed replaced. Just something to think about before a long tow home. Had I known about the trailer prior to buying I would have used it as bargaining power. |
Re: Hello
Yes it is that boat. . . It looks good in the photos and videos I have been sent. I was surprised to find out they only had 205/75/14 tires on the trailer. . . The dealer is doing a consignment sale but they have looked the boat over mechanically. . Then replaced the tires because they had been the original 2000 tires so I don't believe it has been towed alot. .
