New Mariah Owner
Hello everyone,
Just purchased a 1995 215 Divanti, & will pick it up Sunday. Since I do not have the boat yet, and am excited to get it, I did some online searching and found the owners club. What a great resourse! I am sure I will be posting questions once I get it and take it on its maiden voyage. |

Re: New Mariah Owner
Thanks and your wording, "new Mariah" is perfect for this boat. I spent a couple days cleaning it up, wet sanding all the gelcoat, and polishing it, cleaning the vinyl... and it literally looks like a brand new boat. I cannot believe it, 20 years old and it looks like I have a $60,000 boat in my driveway.
I do have a question you might be able to answer.... there are two rocker switches in the lower panel near the radio. Do you have any idea what these do? I am sure I will figure it out when I need whatever they are for, : ) however finding out before will probably save me some time... |
Re: New Mariah Owner
My 99 Z258 has the same 2 switches that are labeled Acc. 1 wasn't powering anything and the other was cut loose under the dash and was probably powering something that was removed before I bought her..... I'm not 100% sure but I think Mariah installed these for owners to ad they're accessories. I used one for my fishfinder and the other one I'm saving for some transom lights.....Enjoy your new boat

Re: New Mariah Owner
Thanks... Mine must be wired a little differently, The two Acc switches are on the upper part of the console. The two switches I am talking about are on the lower section. I figured out one of them, it is for the windshield wiper. When I switched it on, I could hear the wiper trying to work.. a little cleaning and lubricating and the wiper works fine. I have no idea what the switch to the right of this one does though. When I trip it, you can tell there is a slight draw to the power, however I do not know what it is powering. If all else fails, I will trace the wires and see where they go : )
Thanks again |
