Hello Everyone!

Just found this board, gathering information on our new boat:

http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7nrv3jkh.jpg

I need to go down to the shed and get the model, but I think it was a Z210. It's got the 350 and seems to be in good shape (120 hours). I didn't get much of a say on it (came from her family so it was bought sight unseen). Had it out twice last August and once so far this year. Will be back for advice and tips on doing a few upgrades.

Thanks for the welcome guys I guess it's a 1996 Z200 not a Z210.

Re: Hello Everyone!

Did all the Z200's have a 5.7 and a Bravo 1?

Sad to know, was hoping this was an easish fix. Water temp would be super nice.

Easy fix is math. Subtract 10 if you know it's off by that much. I'm sure where the sensors are causes some of the variables. Reading right on top of water is going to be higher than below surface. Same with air temp sensor. It's probably picking up extra radiant heat from boat hull. Not sure where the sensors are but ballpark idea is about as good as it gets.
;)

Grabbed an accurate water temp sensor and compared, it actually fluctuates too much to have a constant correction factor. Sort of a bummer.

An update for this spring! Boat ran great last summer, getting ready for this spring picking up a 3600lb lift with canopy so it's always at the ready as well as a set of smart tabs (on their way now). Really looking forward to getting even more time in on the water with the boat just a few cranks away.

Got the boat in the water and on the lift. Still to do: install trim tabs and decide on new prop. Also need to fix the panel the throttle is on, seems the screws have all stripped out.

Thanks guys! It's got very low hours on it (115 or so) so we'll be aiming to increase that this summer now that it's just a crank or two from the water!:yes_grin:

That hoist is awsome! What does the base under the water attach to?

Re: Hello Everyone!

it sits on the bottom, it's a run of the mill cantilever lift.

Re: Hello Everyone!

Update after a successful summer:

http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/...pskexhiilv.jpg

Boat runs great still, 120 hours on it now. the 20p 4 blade made a world of difference!

http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/...pscvrb41ez.jpg

http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/...pselrd2giz.jpg

Need to re-enforce the panel the throttle attaches to before it gets winterized and stored for the year. Really looking forward to next summer!!
