hello need help

Hello everyone it's been a while. OK finally did the trailer bearings on my 03 prestige trailer. Omg one side in pieces and other side pink greese with water I'm it. Anyway got that done. Now I need brakes pads and rotors. They are surge brakes with rotors and pads weird I know. Marina can get me pads. But I can't find rotors anywhere. He said get them turned. I would like new once anyone know a auto parts store that can match them up. Thank u.

Have a look at etrailer.com. they have a ton of parts one there. I know its hard to look online an decide what to buy but they have a helpful phone line or email them. I re did my trailer using them, it was a treat.

Trailer Parts Superstore is another good online resource.

Also, you'll likely get some more responses if you post trailer questions in the Trailering & Tow Vehicles section of the forum. The introduction section is primarily for new members to introduce themselves.

I will try thx. Cannot get the rotors anywhere. I'm not paying 500 dollars for new pads rotors and calipers.

Re: hello need help

Are there any manufacturer markings on the calipers or even the master cylinder that would give a clue of whose system it is? Tie Down Engineering, Titan, Kodiak, UFP, DeeMax etc?

Re: hello need help

You could try giving RELIABLE PRODUCTION MACHINING AND WELDING a call at 260-347-4000. Are the bearings you just replaced mounted in the rotor? If so, why not just have the rotors machined?

Re: hello need help

The bearings are done and are mounted in the hub
The rotors I will probably get machined because I can't find them. Would be nice if I could new ones though. Found the pads and the are 140 for 4 of them.

Re: hello need help

K I ordered the pads gonna turn the rotors. But now I see that both calipers are frozen. Hopefully I can unfreeze them. Man this boat has been nothing but trouble since I boat it. The last owner didn't take of it and the bank took it away from him. Hope I don't have to shell out 500 dollars for a new trailer brake setup. Reliable is now out of business. Cant find parts anymore.
