Default Graphics & gelcoat repairs.

Having decided to give the hull a proper polish, I am now toying with the idea of removing my scratched up graphics prior to compounding/polishing. I have some scratches that need sanding and some that actually go right through the burgundy painted band.

I could do with some advice on how to get the old graphics off. I could also do with some advice on sourcing the burgundy coloured gelcoat paint to make good before polishing.

Also - is it possible to get the original ivory coloured gelcoat for minor repairs?
Can you still get the original graphics?

1996 Mariah Shabah Z202

Cheers

Hull repairs etc have been discussed numerous times here. The "HOW TO" section should answer your questions about cleaning/repairing your hull & removing old graphics. And as for the graphics, there is a sticky at the top of the "PARTS & COLLECTIBLES FOR SALE" section that answers that question.

    Hi MikeyT

I just spoke to Mike who supplies the original graphics but he informed me that he can no longer supply graphics for my age of boat.

I just wondered if anyone had successfully managed to get them reproduced elsewhere?
